trouble in the rumble

No it is not the next Jackie Chan movie but the state of my stomach.

It all started on Sunday. After drinking a papaya and banana concoction and a barley green and wheatgrass tonic, I decided to eat a meehoon goreng bungkus that hubby bought while out buying the newspaper.

About 30minutes later, the spasms came. Immediately I knew it was food poisoning, or at least the beginning of one. Before long it reached a painful stage and I knew then that I had to pay a visit to the doctor.

Well, the rest is history. I got a jab and was relieved almost immediately. I can still feel slight pain but the meds are helping.

Stayed home today feeling low on energy and but hungry nonetheless.

Hope all is well tomorrow.

love sucks

What happens when you are in love with a lie? A facade? Do you break it up and move on? Can you?

When it comes to matters of the heart, it gets complicated. Somehow it is hard to forget past love even if they were regrets.

My wish is for all to fall in love with the right person for the right reason. Sure it is easier said than done but have faith and patience because the time will come and the right person will be there before you know it.

de-flating

Trying to lose weight is a tough thing to do, especially if you are doing it alone.

It gets difficult when you have to cook but not eat, the price to pay to stay slim.

I was recently recommended to try this. It is not a secret but many of us fail to do so as it just seems impossible. The task - Don't eat after 7pm.

This actually makes alot of sense. By consuming food after 7pm, we usually sleep with our food still being digested and if our meal is not properly combined, the digestion process actually takes a VERY LONG TIME.

And when that is converted to energy, and since we are at rest, it is immediately converted into fats.

Accumulated over time, not a very long one too, we pile on the weight even before we realise it.

We usually ask how come we put on weight even though we are small eaters, now you know.

So eat like a king for breakfast, then like a queen for lunch, and for dinner, like a pauper.

I have tried it and feel much lighter altogether, pretty damn good.

weekend cometh!

My ideal weekend with my pool buddy!
